How to DIY Onion Chrysanthemum
Here is a super cute idea to make onion chrysanthemum. Isn’t that beautiful? It is great for decorating any food dishes, and is very simple to make. Just cut it in the way shown in the pictures, and then put it in water at room temperature. Please note that water should cover the onion completely. The time it takes for the onion chrysanthemum to “blossom” depends on the types of onions and can range from 30 minutes to a couple of hours. You can change the color of the onion chrysanthemum by dipping it in whole or just the tips of the petals in food dyes. Enjoy!
