How to DIY Macrame Knotted Flower Coaster

Macrame is a form of textile-making using knotting rather than weaving or knitting. Its primary knots are the square knots and forms of hitching. Today I am excited to feature this creative DIY project to make a Macrame knotted flower coaster. The technique used here is double half hitch. It is very beautiful with its bright color combination and unique layered pattern. Of course it requires some time and patience to do this, but once you get started, you will have fun weaving the knots. In addition to being used as a coaster, this beautiful Macrame knotted flower can be used as ornament on clothes, bags, hair accessories, pillows, brooches, hats and so on. Let’s get crafting!
