Here is a nice DIY project to make a sweet heart of roses and strawberries. This creative floral arrangement is definitely a great handmade gift on Valentine’s day, or any special occasions that you want to send something special to your loved one. 

To make this beautiful heart of roses and strawberries, you will need:

  • Heart shaped floral foam;
  • 15-20 strawberries;
  • 15-20 fresh roses with leaves;
  • red ribbon;
  • Wire, pins, toothpicks, scissors.

Instructions:

  • Soak the floral foam in water for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. This will keep the roses fresh for about 7 days.
  • Cut the roses, leaving the stems with length of about 3-5 cm.
  • Plug the roses into the floral foam. 
  • Cut the leaves out and attach to the side of the floral foam with pins.
  • Cover the other half of the floral foam with leaves and secure with pins.
  • Plug the strawberries into the floral foam with toothpicks.
  • Add a few decorative details by cutting the stems 3-5 cm long. Use wire to tie 3 stems together and decorate with ribbon bow.
  • Attach them to the side of the floral foam.

Now this sweet and romantic heart of roses and strawberries is ready!
