Filigree commonly refers to delicate kind of jewelry metalwork made with tiny beads or twisted threads soldered together or to the surface of an object of the same metal and arranged in artistic motifs. We can make some variations and use yarn to create filigree artwork. I am excited feature this nice DIY project by a Russian artist to make a beautiful filigree butterfly with yarn. It’s not so difficult to make. Basically you need to first draw the butterfly template on a piece of paper and then glue the threads on it to form the shape of a butterfly.
