Do you like tulips? Instead of waiting for them to spring up naturally in the garden, you can grow them indoors by forcing tulip bulbs in water. Growing tulips indoors allows you to enjoy the colors and fragrance of tulips when it’s still months away. Now (October) is the perfect timing to get some tulip bulbs and force them to bloom during the holidays or mid-winter. Of course, forcing tulip bulbs is not as easy as some other flower bulbs. I’ve found a great tutorial from Sand and Sisal on how to force tulip bulbs in water. Please head over to Sand and Sisal for the useful tips and hopefully you will enjoy the beautiful tulips in winter.
