We have a big maple tree in front of our house. The previous owner used to have a tire swing hanging under the tree, but they removed it before we moved in. My son always wanted another one to be installed. When I was searching for the DIY tutorial, I came across the above image from Pinterest and loved the idea. The picture shows that a rocking chair with a broken leg was turned into a tree swing. It looks really cool, doesn’t it? I guess the only problem is how to find a cheap but nice solid old chair that I can remove the legs from. Maybe I’ll try my luck in yard sales.
